English Language Summary of Minutes of the Annual General Meeting

held in Paris on the 22nd April 2010

1. Opening: The Meeting opened at 9 h 15 and was declared quorate.

2. Agenda: Accepted unanimously.

3. The Office of President: President Henri Rost announced his intention not to stand again for health reasons. No-one present was prepared to stand for this office. The Committee requested M. Rost to remain in post provisionally until the 8th November 2010, when an extraordinary General Meeting will be held to appoint a new President.

4. Minutes of the Previous AGM: These were accepted unanimously.

5. Secretary General’s Report: The President presented this report in the absence of the Secretary General and was accepted.

6. Treasurer’s Report: The President reported that owing to the Treasurer’s absence due to ill health, and to his own ill health, the financial report for 2009 could not be presented. Thus the “Control Commission” had been unable to audit the accounts in time for this meeting.
It was decided to appoint a “Special” Commission, consisting of Messers Janos Szinyei, David Sandford and Guy le Moullec, to carry out this work as soon as possible.

7. Approval of Budget: Mister Rost presented a provisional budget which appears to balance expenditure and income, without comment but with the recommendation that it be submitted for scrutiny by the special Commission.
He reported unpaid subscriptions

8. President’s Report: We lost Estonia on the 1st January. The German Committee lost its last surviving member. We never possible expenditure should be reduced.

9. Elections: No change to him Council. “Special” Commission. See 6 above.

10. Date of Next Meeting: EGM on 8th November.

11. Any other business: Committee members asked what the future holds. We need new members. To be considered at the EGM.

12. There being no further business the meeting was declared closed
